Registered Landscape Architect
Director, Michelle Parkin, completed her BLArch at UNSW with first class honours and came to national notice with her design thesis of the former high profile Carlton United Brewery site; now know as Central Park, Broadway in Sydney. Through exceptional circumstances she went on to become an integral part of the project team on the multi award winning Central Park project during her eight years at Turf Design Studio (TDS). Another significant project role whilst at TDS was on the multi award winning Sydney Park Water Re-Use project, which showcases functional water infrastructure through an engaging landscape.
Now, after two years in a multidisciplinary company on the Gold Coast gaining local knowledge and experience, mjp Greenspace by Design was founded to follow her passion in bespoke urban and environmental design that is functional, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing... “It is time to be inspired by design and to produce amazing spaces for community life through creating enduring landscapes, that are resilient to the ever-evolving challenges, for now and future generations.”
At mjp Greenspace by Design we are highly motivated , and experienced in public and private domain projects. Skilled in high-end graphic production allows creative illustrations for easy communication of critical design ideas. Projects are then logically converted into approved designs and documentation for approvals, tender and construction.
